i bet you're wondering what exactly these "gems" on my main carrd were. like, why didn't i just use regular old dollar signs???well first of all, there ARE other currencies out there, ya self-centered americans /hji just thought i would be ✨ S P E C I A L ✨ and use my own original currency, that's all!
"gems" are a unique type of monetary system used in my fantasy universe of majestica. certain values correspond to a certain type of gem, and some are rarer than others. like money from our world, gems can be stored in individuals' bank accounts (everyone is pretty much given a bank account/some kind of inventory for free) and withdrawn to be carried on hand. they can be used to buy products online and if not carried on hand, individuals can use some kind of credit card which can be swiped and paid off later from what they have in their bank accounts.a magical universe would definitely use a magical form of currency, right? ;)

AMBER

represented by a "🔶" symbol.this is the most common currency used throughout majestica! nearly everything can be bought for amber, save for the most expensive, luxurious items. they're really easy to get, too! many jobs provide salaries in amber. each piece of amber is equivalent to a value of 1.

AZURE

represented by a "🔷" symbol.a slightly rarer form of currency most commonly used by your standard shopping mall outlets. the longer an individual stays in a certain occupation, they can start receiving azure in their salaries. each piece of azure is equivalent to a value of 25.

AMETHYST

represented by a "💜" symbol.beautiful gemstones exclusively produced in the land of qadai. many luxury stores sell items in amethyst. it's quite rare to be paid in amethyst through regular work although it's rumored they are very easily circulated directly in qadai. can range from pinkish to purplish shades. each piece of amethyst is equivalent to a value of 100.

ALABASTER

represented by a "⚪️" symbol.one of the rarest gems of majestica. exclusively mined and circulated from the land of thermia. usually used to buy luxury homes and furniture as well as commission things to be built. rarely used to buy clothing but it can be seen in price tags for clothes made with fine, high-quality fabrics (such as winter clothes). each piece of alabaster is equivalent to a value of 500.

AMARANTH

represented by a "🔴" symbol.the rarest, most valuable gem produced in majestica. exclusively mined and circulated in the underground lava kingdom of obsidia. used to purchase the most high end pieces of clothing and accessories. only given in salaries to individuals working in important, influential positions. often confused for amethyst. each piece of amaranth is equivalent to a value of 1000.
